Can't make it on the 30th?  Donate a ticket for a DREAMer

In November, the ACLU filed litigation against Governor Brewer to demand fairness for young immigrants known as DREAMers, who were brought to the US as children and were granted a temporary reprieve from deportation and are now eligible for work permits under a federal program announced in August.

But instead of embracing the possibilities offered by these young hard-working young people, Governor Brewer immediately issued an order singling out tens of thousands of DREAMers in Arizona by denying them driver's licenses, even though they are legally authorized to live and work here.

The ACLU is standing up for these DREAMers because it's right and fair — and because it's wrong for state officials to play politics with the hopes and dreams of these ambitious leaders of tomorrow.  Join us for the evening and show your support for this critical work of the ACLU.
