The ACLU of Arizona is seeking a Policy Counsel or Strategist who will develop and execute the organization's policy and legislative agenda in support of the ACLU of Arizona’s priorities. They will work collaboratively across departments, using an integrated advocacy approach that utilizes policy advocacy, litigation, organizing, and communications to maximize the impact of our work.

The Organizing Internship at the ACLU of Arizona provides individuals with an opportunity to actively work on community organizing and public education projects on a wide variety of issues, including immigrants’ rights, LGBTQ rights, First Amendment, reproductive freedom, and criminal justice reform.

The ACLU of Arizona invites applications for a 3-month Policy Internship from June to August (Summer), September to November (Fall), and February to April (Spring).

A communications internship at the ACLU of Arizona provides students and recent graduates with an opportunity to actively work on multimedia and public relations-related projects on a wide variety of civil liberties issues, including immigrants’ rights, LGBTQ+ rights, First Amendment rights, voting rights, reproductive freedom, and criminal justice reform.
