My Health Is Personal Not PoliticalForty years ago, the Supreme Court handed down its decision in Roe v. Wade, ruling that the constitutional right to privacy protects a woman's ability to choose whether to continue or terminate her pregnancy. Since then, Roe has protected women’s right to seek safe, legal abortions.

Unfortunately, Arizona continues to lead the effort to chip away at the legal protections in Roe. Today, women in Arizona face some of the most dangerous threats to women's rights and health in decades, including a ban on virtually all abortions after 20 weeks, and laws blocking federal funding for women's health services and denying tax credits to groups that even mention abortion.

Enough is enough. Celebrate Roe's 40th anniversary by taking action:

Sign our petition to protect women's reproductive rights. Tell Arizona elected officials to stop playing politics with women's health.

Join us for an opening day rally at the state legislature.

Join us at a community forum in Tucson for 40 Years After Roe, a look back at defending reproductive freedom in Arizona and a look forward to how we'll face the next set of challenges.

The ACLU is committed to defending everyone’s right to make informed decisions about their reproductive and sexual health, free from government interference. We will continue challenging anti-choice laws in the courts and at the legislature. Learn more about our work in Arizona and across the country to protect reproductive freedom.
