Bio

Harrison K. H. Redmond is a Community Organizer for the ACLU of Arizona. Harrison was born and raised in Arizona and currently lives in Phoenix. He has been involved with community and electoral organizing for more than 10 years and most recently worked for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Harrison joined the ACLU of Arizona to fight for criminal legal reform, LGBTQ+ equality, immigrants’ rights, and abortion access across Arizona.

Harrison also advocates for civil rights and civil liberties at the Arizona Legislature and other governmental bodies. He lobbies elected officials through written and oral testimony, coalition building, and one-on-one meetings, to achieve the end goals of the ACLU of Arizona. He always aims to empower people through sustained investment in their community and a radical belief in collective action, abolitionist ideals, and people power. Outside of political advocacy, Harrison loves to travel, get tattooed, read, play guitar, and spend time with his cat, Ruth.

Harrison is a graduate of the University of Arizona, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with bachelor’s degrees in both Law and Political Science with an emphasis in Law and Public Policy.
