Nichole Cassidy is the Director of Philanthropy and Operations for the ACLU of Arizona, joining the staff in November 2015. She has over thirteen years of experience in establishing and directing fundraising opportunities for Arizona nonprofits. She is responsible for leading efforts to expand the ACLU of Arizona’s development program to sustain our presence and programmatic impact across the state and focus on strategic goals around organizational effectiveness including operations, leadership development, board development and equity and inclusion. Previously she was Director of Development at Phoenix nonprofit Chrysalis and prior to then she helped successfully lead a $4 million-dollar campaign at west valley nonprofit Benevilla. She is passionate about helping grassroots organizations build their fundraising capacity and has worked with various nonprofits including Trans Queer Pueblo, Poder in Action and Puente. Nichole is a graduate of Washington State University with a bachelor’s in Zoology and a minor in Psychology.
