Over 200 guests turned out on March 20 to celebrate the ACLU of Arizona’s 50th Anniversary. We honored our first client, Henry Oyama, and his late wife, Mary Ann Jordan. Arizona Attorney General Terry Goddard presented the award to Mr. Oyama. Our featured speaker was Anthony Romero, executive director of the national ACLU. The ACLU of Arizona founders also received a special recognition at the event, which was held at the Westward Look Resort.
