The 2010 session of the Arizona Legislature has ended and the number one issue on the agenda was to close the multibillion dollar budget shortfall. 

But, as we grapple with the most serious financial crisis in Arizona history, the state continues to transfer $55 million per year from its general fund to the coffers of some of the largest private, sectarian schools in the state through tuition tax credit programs that benefit wealthy taxpayers and powerful corporations.

The ACLU of Arizona is in court fighting two tuition tax credit programs in an effort to help support your neighborhood public schools and keep government out of the business of religion.
