Make a tax-deductible donation
Your tax-deductible donations will go directly to support a remarkable and brave group of ACLU clients who have had the courage to stand up for their rights – and for the rights of everyone in Arizona – by taking a stand against unconstitutional, illegal and unconscionable actions by our government.
People like Dan Frazier, a Flagstaff activist who risked being arrested for selling anti-war t-shirts, or Savana Redding, an honor roll student at Safford Middle School who was forced to undress by a school vice principal as part of a search for ibuprofen pills, or Sinan Fazlovic whose pay was slashed 45% by a county jail official who demoted him because of his religion – a hardship that he endured for 37 months while trying to put food on the table for his wife and three young children.
Dan, Savana and Sinan all have one thing in common: their willingness to walk into a court room and challenge the government at great personal and professional sacrifice.
We owe these courageous people more than our admiration. We owe them a debt of gratitude. You can let them know you appreciate the tremendous stand they have taken for liberty by making a tax-deductible donation to support our legal program. The ACLU does not charge its clients and your year-end gift will help us increase our litigation capabilities and provide more assistance to people like Dan, Savana and Sinan.
